External controls for PCR-based assays
Maine Molecular Quality Controls Inc. (MMQCI) manufactures and validates controls for well-known POC PCR instruments. Controls are used for external quality assessment of PCR methods and instruments in infectious disease testing, as well as in genetic and oncology research.
Many controls are multiple targets containing panels that enable efficient quality assurance of multiplex assays. The products are ready-to-use, easy-to-use solutions.
Several controls are for research use only (RUO), but validations for CE-IVD marking are ongoing.
