myTXTL protein expression kits

Cell-free protein expression kits for antibody discovery and protein engineering

 

By adding DNA, the cell-free myTXTL system enables rapid production of proteins and other biological structures. Open reaction conditions allow easy modification and addition of chaperone molecules. Two-day workflow enables downstream processing of synthesized proteins, enzymes, and phages.

Linear or plasmid DNA can be used directly as a template, without the need for cloning. The lack of a purification step allows the DNA to be readily diluted into activity assays.

  • Kit content: Pro Master mix, helper Plasmid (for T7 RNA Polymerase expression) and T7 deGFP Control Plasmid.
  • Expression of both disulfide bond-containing proteins (e.g. antibodies) and proteins without disulfide bonds in a day.
  • Provides high-yields of proteins, even complex ones such as Fab and IgG. Sufficient yield for studies such as ELISA or SPR. Lysis- and purification free workflow, no cloning required.
  • Kit content: DS Master Mix, Helper Plasmid (for T7 RNA polymerase expression) and T7 Gluc Control Plasmid.
