Patient sample diagnostics for the identification and prevention of communicable diseases is subject to an operating licence under section 18 of the Finnish Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016) that may only be performed by the National Institute for Health and Welfare or laboratories with an operating licence and units under their supervision.

QuickVue Dipstick Strep A

Test detects Group A Streptococcal antigen directly from patient throat swab specimens, or confirmation of presumptive Group A Streptococcal colonies recovered from culture and is used as an aid in the diagnosis of Group A Streptococcal infection. Test is provided in package sizes of 25 or 50 tests.
