High-capacity tissue processor for flexible workflow
HistoCore PELORIS 3, manufactured by Leica Biosystems, is a high-capacity dual retort tissue processor that enables two different protocols to run simultaneously (up to 300 cassettes per retort). This allows for optimal processing for each specimen type. The PELORIS 3 combines both conventional and rapid processing, and it is also ideally suited for xylene-free processing.
Sample, reagent, and user data are easily saved with the integrated barcode reader. An optional I-Scan reader is available, allowing also images of the specimen baskets with cassettes to be captured and stored, further enhancing traceability. Data can be retrieved from the instrument as clear, comprehensive reports.
A variety of pre-validated protocols are available for both conventional and xylene-free processing.
