High-capacity tissue processor for flexible workflow
HistoCore PELORIS 3, manufactured by Leica Biosystems, is a high-capacity dual retort tissue processor that enables two different protocols to run simultaneously (up to 300 cassettes per retort). This allows for optimal processing for each specimen type. The PELORIS 3 combines both conventional and rapid processing, and it is also ideally suited for xylene-free processing.
Sample, reagent, and user data are easily saved with the integrated I-Scan reader. I-Scan also allows images of the specimen baskets with cassettes to be captured and stored, further enhancing traceability. Data can be retrieved from the instrument as clear, comprehensive reports.
A variety of pre-validated protocols are available for both conventional and xylene-free processing.
